Job summary

The Grants and Compliance Analyst will assist the Grants and Compliance Manager with the grant lifecycle from pre-award to post-award, ensuring proper coding, reporting, and documentation in line with grant requirements. This role supports budget development, cost allocation, reimbursements, and audit readiness, while maintaining internal controls and compliance across federal, state, and local grants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; master's preferred.
• 2+ years accounting experience including general ledger and grants.
• Non-profit grant compliance experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge for government/non-profit contexts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate grant billings and monitor expenses by line item.
• Coordinate with AP and Payroll for grant-cost allocations.
• Develop grant management processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Set up and maintain awarded grants and reports.
• Provide grant guidance in compliance with processes and requirements.
• Prepare regular grant financial reports for decision support.
• Assist with grant budgets, expenditures, and reconciliations.
• Prepare reimbursements for Federal, State, and local grants.
• Monitor and reconcile grant funds; support audits as needed.
• Maintain grant worksheets and submit monthly journal entries.
• Assist in ERP/Excel grant tracking and reporting.
