Kforce has a client in Fairfield County, CT seeking an Accounting Supervisor with significant Grant Accounting experience to lead day-to-day financial operations.

In this role you will manage compliance, allocation, and reporting for federal, state, and local grants, perform funding and bank reconciliations, track funded allocations, and supervise staff while ensuring accurate month-end close and reporting.

Qualifications

• NFP/Grant accounting expertise required.
• Public and private accounting experience required.
• Ability to manage the function and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the compliance, allocation, and reporting for federal, state, and local Grants
• Perform funding and bank reconciliations for all grant related activities
• Update and manage investments across numerous programs
• Track funded allocations, and prepare detailed budget to actual variance reports
• Prepare month-end and annual reports
• Enhance grant tracking system, and compliance protocols
• Supervise and train staff
