Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Four years of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to plan and prioritize.
• Teamwork and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and refine operating procedures and computerized systems for financial reporting.
• Monitor, review and document University financial transactions for compliance with accounting principles, University policies, federal circulars and IRS rules.
• Prepare financial statements, annual audits, income tax return, revenue projections for endowments and expenditure projections for special projects.
• Responsible for post award financial management functions, including expenditure monitoring, financial reporting, grant close-out, and audit.
