Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis seeks a dedicated accounting professional to support comprehensive financial administration for nonprofit and grant-funded programs. You will ensure GAAP compliance, monitor budgets, analyze expenditures, and prepare internal financial reports.

You will partner with entity leaders, grant managers, and stakeholders to maintain accurate reporting and regulatory compliance while supporting general accounting and special financial projects for the hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2+ years experience in accounting, finance, or grant management.
• Experience with nonprofit, government, or federally funded grants.
• Familiarity with federal grant regulations (Uniform Guidance / 2 CFR 200).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.
• Performs general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close activities.
• Monitors financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
• Financial Reporting: Prepares internal financial reports and supporting schedules for assigned entities, including the Regional One Health Foundation.
• Supports budget monitoring and financial analysis activities.
• Assists with preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Manages financial grants management and compliance: Monitors grant activity and funding requirements.
• Audits and Internal Controls: Assists with annual audit preparation and coordination.
