Job summary

Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services in Oak Ridge, TN, is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to support the Controller with an initial focus on grant management and accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, 3+ years of experience, GAAP proficiency, and advanced Excel skills. You will help manage grants, prepare board and management reports, and back up the Controller as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with an accounting concentration required.
• Three+ years’ hands-on experience with GAAP, preferably in hospital or nonprofit settings.
• Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the integrity of the accounting books and records.
• Prepare financial reports for the board, management, program leadership, and outside parties.
• Understand and manage grants with varying requirements in concert with the accounting team.
• Back up the Controller as necessary.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes.
• Organize financial information in secure electronic folders.
