Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc. is hiring a CDL driver to move grain and other products in Emmetsburg, IA. You will operate hopper trailers, perform daily inspections, and help maintain a safe, efficient location.

The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements, DOT physical every two years, and strong customer service. You will work extended hours during busy seasons while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Must have or the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• DOT physical every 2 years at minimum as required by law.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Understand seasonality of farm supply business and in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Drive grain and other products to designated locations using hopper trailers.
• Maintain logs and documentation in a timely, neat manner.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in other location operations and provide customer service during busy seasons.
• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE.
