Job summary

Gold Star FS, Inc in Illinois is seeking a Grain Systems Sales Manager to develop and manage sales of grain storage, handling systems, and related equipment. You will build strong customer relationships, identify project opportunities, prepare estimates, and coordinate projects from sale through completion.

The role requires travel to customer sites, the ability to read drawings, and collaboration with installation, engineering, and suppliers to ensure safe, profitable projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Sales experience in grain systems or construction preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and equipment specs.
• Strong math, estimating, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Gold Star FS service area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate new business through prospecting, customer visits, referrals, and industry events.
• Identify customer needs and recommend grain storage and handling solutions.
• Sell grain bins, grain legs, conveyors, unload systems, fans, dryers, aeration equipment, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams regarding pricing, availability, delivery, and project requirements.
• Present proposals and negotiate pricing, scope, and project terms within company guidelines.
