Job summary

FS is seeking a Grain Systems Sales Manager in the Structures Department to lead sales of grain storage and related equipment. The role develops customer relationships, evaluates needs, prepares proposals, and coordinates projects from sale through completion with internal teams and suppliers.

This exempt, on-site position requires travel and strong skills in estimating, negotiation, and customer service, with a focus on profitability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• Previous sales experience with demonstrated success preferred.
• Knowledge of grain storage and handling systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate new business through prospecting, visits, referrals, and events.
• Identify customer needs and recommend grain storage and handling solutions.
• Sell grain bins, legs, conveyors, unload systems, fans, dryers, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
• Prepare estimates, quotations, proposals, and project specifications.
• Monitor project costs and margins; review drawings and layouts.
• Travel to customer sites and attend trade shows and events.
