Job summary

Gold Star FS, Inc. is seeking a Grain Systems Sales Manager in Aledo, IL, to develop and manage sales of grain storage, handling equipment, and related structures.

You will build customer relationships, identify opportunities, prepare estimates, and coordinate projects from sale through completion with internal teams and contractors. The role requires strong sales, negotiation, and project-management skills, with travel across the service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong mathematical, estimating, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, equipment specs, layouts, and measurements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate new business through prospecting, visits, referrals, and industry events.
• Identify customer needs and recommend grain storage and handling solutions.
• Sell grain bins, legs, conveyors, unload systems, fans, dryers, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams regarding pricing and delivery.
• Present proposals and negotiate pricing, scope, and terms within guidelines.
