Job summary

Palmetto Grain Brokerage is seeking a Grain Broker & Risk Management Advisor in the Southeast. You will serve farmers, producers, processors and end users, helping them navigate cash markets, understand local basis, and manage price risk while building a personal client book.

You will deliver market insights and represent the firm with a farmer-first focus, leveraging an experienced team and comprehensive services. Field-based role requiring entrepreneurial drive.

Qualifications

• Experience in grain marketing or risk management.
• Ability to work directly with farmers and end users.
• Series 3 license or willingness to obtain.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and independent in the field.
• Strong knowledge of basis, cash markets and CME futures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner to grain producers across the region, helping navigate cash markets and manage price risk.
• Execute sound marketing strategies and advise clients on market opportunities.
• Manage your own book of business and deliver ongoing market insights.
• Represent the firm with a farmer-first focus and professional integrity.
