Job summary

Bluegrass Stream LLC in Nebraska is seeking a Grain Plant Operator to support seasonal grain handling by loading, unloading, storing, and moving bulk commodities, while operating equipment and inspecting for safe flow in a fast-paced agricultural environment. You will perform basic maintenance, provide customer service, and work closely with team members.

Role Overview:

The Grain Plant Operator supports seasonal grain handling operations by performing loading, unloading, storing, and moving bulk commodities. This involves operating equipment, conducting inspections, and assisting with basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient grain flow in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and railcars, and managing grain ground piles.
• Performing basic maintenance and operator care of equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service and collaborating with team members.
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English and possess basic computer skills.
• Capable of working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, at heights from 4 to 150 feet, and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience:

Prior production work experience is advantageous.

Additional Information:

The role offers full-time seasonal employment with a pay rate of $25.00/hr and a sign-on bonus of $2,000. Candidates should be comfortable working in safety-focused environments and performing physically demanding tasks.
