Cargill, Inc in Sidney, Ohio, seeks a Grain Origination Merchant to link farmer customers with our customer facing strategy. You will translate regional cash market knowledge into timely, competitive offerings across corn, soybean, and wheat, supporting operations and ensuring profitability.

The role is hybrid with routine office commutes to Bloomingburg or Sidney, OH, and requires strong relationship building and market insight. Relevant experience in grain sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Commercial or grain sales experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic production agriculture principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmer customers.
• Position commodity offers in local cash markets to source them efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal sales, merchandising, customer service and operations teams.
• Enable an efficient customer experience through our systems and digital offerings.
• Identify and communicate customer insights to enhance value propositions and strategy.
