Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Grain Origination Analyst to join our Midwest team in Illinois. You will work with farmers and customers to originate grain, service market information, bids, and accounting issues, and ensure accurate communication of load orders.

You will engage with feed mills, brokers, and other buyers to market soybeans meal and related products while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring competitive bid structures and compliance with contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture Economics or relevant discipline.
• 1–2 years of agribusiness or food industry experience preferred.
• Strong interest in soybean processing and agribusiness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem solving, execution and organizational skills.
• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with farmers and elevator customers to originate grain and provide customer service.
• Service farmer customers in market information, bids, hours, grade reporting and accounting issues.
• Communicate with feed mills, livestock producers, brokers, and other buyers in marketing soybeans meal and soyhull pellets.
• Create and communicate load order numbers for product loading to customers and internal groups.
• Facilitate and assist in the communication of market conditions between local and corporate management.
• Evaluate and report changing crop and market conditions to appropriate company personnel.
• Verify overnight markets to protect bid and keep merchants updated.
• Check local competition and elevator bid structure to ensure competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and update bid sheet daily.
