Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Wisconsin is seeking a Location Manager candidate to assist in directing production, distribution, quality control, and marketing operations for the Gilman location. You will coordinate warehousing, drive efficiency, and supervise staff to meet location goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, inventory control, and ensuring safety compliance, with the location manager absent. A two-year degree and 1–2 years of related experience are expected, plus AS/400 familiarity.

Qualifications

• AA or two-year college or technical school; 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials; write reports.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts; basic algebra/geometry.
• Reasoning: solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Knowledge of AS 400 accounting and inventory software.
• May be required to hold a weighing license and grain grading certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and sales.
• Confer with customers and industries to improve services.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Review expenses and inventory control to enhance profitability.
• Direct preparation of accounting records for the location.
• Assist Location Manager and act in their absence.
• Supervise employees as assigned.
