Job summary

Heartland Co-Op in Washburn, IA is seeking a full-time front-line support and location operations assistant. You will handle customer transactions, maintain product/inventory records, and assist with grain storage and maintenance tasks to keep the location performing smoothly.

The role requires the ability to process payments, manage scales, and deliver reliable service while supporting warehouse operations and routine upkeep of the facility. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service in a timely manner via email, face to face interaction, telephone and live chat.
• Bill products, receive payments, run scale, and track inventory.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns, complaints and issues.
• Assist location manager with maintaining grain, petroleum, feed and/or agronomy records.
• Accept and record prepayment and bookings for products.
• Price and process payment for commodities delivered by customers.
• Remove cash and reconcile amount of cash in register at end of day and prepare deposit.
