Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Gilman, IA is seeking an experienced Location Manager to assist directing production, distribution, quality control, and marketing operations for the location. You will work with the Location Manager to oversee daily activities and ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating warehousing, inventories, and sales programs; maintaining safety compliance; supervising staff during the Location Manager's absence; and preparing budgets.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales aligned with Heartland Co-op policies.
• Confers with customers and industry reps to promote improved services in the area.
• Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Reviews expenses and inventory control programs to maintain profitable operation.
• Directs preparation of accounting records for the location; supports budgeting.
• Fills responsibility role during Location Manager's absence.
