Job summary

The role involves training in day-to-day grain origination activities, follow-through on contracting procedures, and clear communication with customers and internal teams to help locations meet profitability

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 1–3 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• English proficiency.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials; write reports and present information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participate in training activities to learn essential Grain Marketing skills.
• Procure grain from area producers into the Agtegra elevator system with volume and margin focus.
• Develop long-term relationships with targeted customers and promote Agtegra programs.
• Understand and follow grain contracting procedures and applicable trade rules.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams via test messaging, email, newsletters, social media, etc.
• Track producer trends and market conditions to inform the team.
• Maintain detailed records of targeted customers and performance.
• Contribute to planning and execution of grain origination strategies and hedge desk activities.
