Agtegra Cooperative is seeking Grain Marketing Interns to join our team in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience in grain marketing, origination, hedging, and forecasting, with opportunities to learn from industry experts.

Qualifications

• Enrollment toward a business, marketing, or sales degree (agriculture program preferred).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in grain origination, hedging, and preparation of facility volume and revenue forecasts.
• Support risk management activities and hedge desk operations.
• Collaborate with grain originators and farmers on origination and marketing initiatives.
• Assist in compiling revenue models used for forecasting and budgeting.
• Participate in calibration of wheat protein samplers ahead of harvest season.
• Monitor market information sources and distribute insights to staff and patrons.
• Maintain communication with location personnel and travel to locations as needed.
• Support process improvements and adhere to safety regulations including DOT.
