Job summary

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Grain Location Manager in Aberdeen, SD to oversee daily location operations, safety compliance, and customer service. The role includes budgeting, profit and loss stewardship, and staff supervision to ensure profitability and success at the grain location.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree with 5–10 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and eligibility to work in the United States. Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree and 5-10 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in United States without visa sponsorship.
• English proficiency.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, EPA and policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of management and supervisory principles and practices, including program planning, contract requirements, budgeting, direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals within and outside the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations including unloading, loading, and sales of grain commodities; conduct performance reviews and coaching.
• Coach and motivate team to meet performance standards.
• Provide leadership in managing team performance with measurable goals and metrics.
• Build relationships with customers and promote grain marketing products and programs.
• Coordinate with grain merchandisers to plan and direct grain sales programs.
• Maintain a profitable location through staffing, expense management, revenue maximization, and risk management.
