Job summary

The role requires strong verbal and written communication, the ability to work independently and in a team, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs while working in varied conditions including cold, heat, and grain

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain to meet specs.
• Operate loading/unloading equipment to ship/receive grain.
• Inspect grain facilities daily to maintain equipment condition.
• Help schedule logistics for inbound and outbound grain.
• Maintain inventories to maximize profitability including grain movements.
• Identify problems and work with manager to find solutions.
• Deal with customers daily.
• Assist in implementing safety programs.
• Comply with environmental laws and company procedures.
• Report environmental issues to supervisor.
• Review emergency notification process at work site.
