Job summary

Western Grain Marketing is seeking a Grain Handler Technician to receive and load grain safely while maximizing location profitability. You will work under the Regional Grain Improvement Manager and help maintain equipment, inventory, and records.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of related experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Overtime, commission, and performance-based increases may apply. This is a non-exempt, full-time position based in Adair, IL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading, loading, and transferring grain.
• Operate conveyance equipment for shipping and receiving.
• Maintain positive relations with producers and customers.
• Ensure safety practices and proper equipment operation.
• Monitor grain quality and inventory control.
• Assist Location Manager with operating expenses.
• Support other locations and departments as needed.
• Inspect handling equipment and inventory as required.
