Western Grain Marketing LLC is seeking a Grain Handler Technician in Illinois to safely handle, store, and move grain within a grain facility. You will operate conveyors, augers, elevators, and dryers, perform quality checks, and maintain organized records for shipments and inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or previous experience in agriculture or a related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Basic math and computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load grain using conveyors, augers, and elevators.
• Operate and maintain grain handling machinery, including dryers and storage systems.
• Conduct quality checks on grain for moisture, weight, and other specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage practices.
• Clean and maintain grain bins, pits, and work areas to meet safety and hygiene standards.
