Job summary

ADM is seeking a Grain Grader in Sauget, IL for a permanent, salaried, non-exempt role. You will grade corn, soybeans, and wheat, enter truck data, sample inflows, and maintain orderly operations while upholding ADM safety standards.

The position is on second shift (approximately 1:00 PM–9:00 PM CST) with overtime opportunities and varying seasonal hours. A high school diploma and solid math, data-entry, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency for grading and recordkeeping.
• Basic computer proficiency to enter data and generate tickets.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently grade grain commodities including corn, soybeans, wheat, and sorghum.
• Accurately sample and probe trucks to identify contents of inbound and outbound loads.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with peers, management, and customers.
• Perform regular housekeeping to minimize grain dust and maintain a clean workspace.
• Partner with management to determine daily binning plans based on product quality and inbound volumes.
• Maintain a professional demeanor reflecting ADM’s core values with customers and colleagues.
• Utilize computer systems to generate customer tickets and receipts.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies and contribute to a strong safety culture.
