Job summary

Responsibilities include daily facility inspections, coordinating with the facility manager on scheduling, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety procedures. Weekend hours may be required during harvest seasons and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and practices.

• Available to work extended weekday and weekend hours during grain harvest seasons.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain and grain products.
• Operate loading/unloading equipment to ship or receive grain products.
• Inspect grain facilities daily and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Assist scheduling logistics with the facility manager for inbound/outbound grain.
• Maintain inventories to maximize profitability and manage grain movements.
• Identify problems or improvements and help implement solutions.
• Interact with customers daily.
• Assist in safety programs and environmental compliance.
• Report environmental issues to supervisor and review emergency procedures.
