Bartlett in Savage, MN is seeking Elevator Operators to handle grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading, ensuring stored grain remains in good condition and facilities are clean and safe for all team members.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and follow instructions in English, reliable transportation, and willingness to work overtime and weekends; a criminal background check will be performed.

The Basics

• Location: Savage, MN
• Compensation: $22.50/hr
• Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift, 6am to 2pm, Monday thru Friday with overtime as needed, including weekends.
• Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs
• Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

• You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
• You will work at heights
• You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
