Job summary

Bartlett Co. in Stella, NE is hiring an Elevator Operator to manage grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending and loading. This hands-on role ensures safe, efficient grain operations and equipment upkeep.

Shifts are first shift, 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday with overtime including weekends. Starting pay is $20/hour with overtime at 1.5x. A high school diploma or GED, English literacy, reliable transportation, and passing a background check are required.

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending and loading operations.
• Monitor stored grain condition and maintain grain facilities and equipment.
• Clean and maintain facilities and equipment to ensure safety.
• Cross-train to perform a variety of related tasks.

The Basics

Location: Stella, NE

Compensation: $20/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift. Usual hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday, with some OT, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What you’ll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• High school diploma or GED
