Job summary

Bartlett is hiring Grain Elevator Operators in Saint Joseph, MO. This hands-on role involves receiving, storing, handling, drying, blending, and loading grain, while monitoring conditions and maintaining equipment for a safe work environment.

The position offers overtime, is 2nd shift, and pays $23 per hour and up. Required are a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and follow English instructions, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.

• Cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks as a Grain Elevator Operator

Job description

Location:

St Joseph, MO

Compensation:

$23/hr and up

Days/Hours:

This job will be 2nd shift, 2:45pm-11:15pm, M-F with ample overtime, including weekends.

Equipment Used:

Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled:

Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
