Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Grain Production Worker for a seasonal role. The position involves grain handling tasks, loading and unloading various transport modes, and maintaining a safe work environment on the 1st shift.

Eligible candidates must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate in English. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered and the job pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting with/without accommodations.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Ability to work in elevated areas of 4 feet and above.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars.
• Fill/reclaim grain ground piles and perform grain handling tasks.
• Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
• Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
