Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking an Interventionist to join the academy’s Continuous Improvement Team. You will deliver targeted academic, attendance, graduation-readiness, and CCR interventions for Graduation Candidates in grades 9-12, focusing on off-track students and those needing EOC prep and engagement support.

You will collaborate with coaches, GCAs, counselors, and leadership to tailor plans, monitor progress, and sustain graduation outcomes, with a grant-funded, full-time role through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred.
• Experience with at-risk youth, alternative education, dropout recovery, re-engagement, or student support preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze student data, identify intervention needs, monitor progress, and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify Graduation Candidates requiring intervention through attendance, course completion, benchmark assessments, EOC, and engagement data.
• Provide individualized and small-group intervention services in ELA and Mathematics.
• Monitor progress, pacing, and mastery using Edmentum reports and benchmarks.
• Support EOC preparation, remediation, and readiness activities.
• Collaborate with coaches and counselors to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Monitor attendance and engagement data to identify at-risk students and conduct interventions.
• Collaborate with families and staff to address barriers impacting progress.
• Maintain intervention records and progress-monitoring documentation.
