Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support a licensed Civil Engineer on site in Austin, TX. You will learn company practices and local codes while advancing proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and related design tasks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and timely delivery of design solutions, with opportunities to pursue a Professional Engineering license and professional growth within a collaborative, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or ability to obtain within 6–12 months
Engineer-in-Training Certificate or ability to obtain within 6–12 months
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software
Proficiency in Word and Excel for documents and calculations

Responsabilités

Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D
Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analyses, and issues
Prepare entitlement documents supporting Tentative Maps, Vacations, Zone Changes, Entitlements, etc.
Calculate quantities using Excel and prepare justification letters in Word
Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D including grading plans, plan and profiles, construction details, storm drain, water and sewer facilities, signage and striping plans
