Renewable Careers in New York is seeking a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join the environmental advisory team. You will help corporate clients, real estate developers, and municipal agencies navigate decarbonization, resource efficiency, and local environmental compliance regulations while working in a structured mentorship program.

The role offers an 18-month path to becoming an autonomous consultant, with exposure to flagship green initiatives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to translate metrics into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling GHG inventories (Scope 1-3) using enterprise sustainability software.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on building-scale data to support LEED, WELL, or energy codes.
• Develop data models tracking client resource usage, focusing on water, waste, and energy efficiency.
• Support ESG materiality analyses to identify and prioritize risks for clients.
