Job summary

TKDA’s Mining Structural team seeks a Graduate Design Engineer to join our employee-owned, multi-disciplinary firm. You will assist with analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities, developing plans, calculations, specifications, and construction details.

This entry-level role offers hybrid work from Duluth, MN or Bloomington, MN, with up to 15% travel. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams and may support

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree with structural emphasis.
• EIT certification upon completion or already obtained.
• Experience with structural design tools and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assist analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for mining facilities.
• Develop plans, calculations, specifications, and construction details for steel, concrete, and foundations.
• Collaborate with mechanical/electrical/civil teams and support construction administration tasks.
