About the role

Kickstart your career as a Software Engineer with a Graduate Software Engineer role at Ditto. Your role will start with a structured 2-year training program that will teach you all you need to succeed as a professional software engineer. Working alongside industry experts, you will be trained on all aspects of building production software — design, development, and testing, including debugging your software in customer scenarios. You will learn various modern programming languages, development techniques, and cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Complete our extensive 2-year training program covering all aspects of software engineering
• Learn programming languages including Rust, Swift, and Kotlin
• Gain experience with modern development methodologies, practices, and tools
• Ship code across our portfolio of products, demos, and examples
• Help develop internal tools and automation to improve efficiency
• Assist customers in troubleshooting issues to hone problem-solving skills
• Enhance technical communication through documentation
• Earn promotion to a Software Engineer position within 2 years
• Collaborate internally with product, sales, and marketing teams

Who you are

• First Class Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, C, Java, or Rust
• Familiarity with CS fundamentals like hardware, networking, and operating systems
• (Nice to have): Experience building mobile applications (Android/iOS)
• Strong desire to learn and tackle new technologies
• Creative problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills
