Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with a faculty mentor to guide and direct activities.
  • Assist faculty members with collecting and analyzing data and reporting results on various research projects.
  • Assist other students as part of the research team and take ownership in all aspects of the research project, including planning, data collection, data analysis, reports, and publications.
  • Communicate project status to the faculty mentor as requested and help communicate with stakeholders.
  • Mentor an undergraduate student.
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of others; exercise caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
  • Observe security-sensitive procedures as required for this position.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, currently working toward a master’s degree; must be enrolled in 9 semester credits in the fall or spring and 6 semester credits in the summer.

  • Learn new skills as necessary.
  • Comfortable operating Microsoft Office software.
