Qualifications

• Must be a degree-seeking graduate student at JSU.
• Must be actively enrolled in a JSU graduate degree program during the assistantship.
• If new student, must be admitted to a degree program.
• Must maintain the minimum GPA and be enrolled in six to nine graduate semester hours during the term.

Responsibilities

• Motion graphics design for documentary content and title sequences.
• Edit documentary footage with Adobe Premiere Pro, including syncing audio/video and rough cuts.
• Identify and source archival footage and manage usage rights and metadata.
• Organize project files and assets with clear naming conventions and backups.
• Attend weekly production meetings and communicate progress with mentors and team members.
• Maintain proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Gain experience in a professional documentary workflow and receive mentorship.
