Qualifications

Must be an active student for East Texas A&M University.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate office equipment and basic software.
Experience with file management and data entry.
Respect for confidentiality and FERPA policies.

Responsibilities

Assist with answering phones, filing, errands, and copying.
Greet office guests and direct them to the proper individual(s).
Greet students and their guests and swipe them in before entry into a residence hall.
Maintain documents and spreadsheets.
Provide quality customer service.
Collaborate and communicate with supervisor.
Coordinate maintenance of files, records, office supplies, and equipment.
On occasion, may be responsible for communications in meetings.
Contribute to the Counseling Department's overall success by performing other duties as assigned.
