Job summary

The University of St. Thomas is seeking a Graduate Recruitment Coordinator to manage early stage outreach for prospective graduate students and inquiries, nurturing relationships before the application stage.

The role involves developing communication strategies, coordinating call/text/email campaigns, and collaborating with the Graduate Admissions team to ensure timely handoffs and consistent messaging across the student journey.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Four years of experience in customer service, sales, admissions, outreach, or a communication-focused role.
• Experience using CRM systems or managing communication workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary first point of contact for early-stage prospective students.
• Deliver personalized, timely information to prospects and inquiries to encourage engagement and funnel progression.
• Respond to emails, calls, and forms with a student-centered approach and clear next steps.
• Identify inquiries who are “application-ready” and route them to recruiters promptly.
• Support prospective student recruitment events, information sessions, and other engagement activities as needed.
• Develop and maintain outreach strategies with the Assistant Director, Graduate Recruiter, and team.
