Job summary

The University of Houston’s Bauer Graduate Programs seeks an admissions and programs coordinator to plan and oversee recruitment and admissions activities, manage expenditures, and guide staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves building relationships with faculty, students, and external partners, organizing events, producing admissions reports, and maintaining CRM communications to prospective students with exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education admissions or advising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining key relationships with faculty, staff, prospects, applicants, organizations and businesses.
• Planning, organizing and executing recruitment and admission events and projects.
• Presenting to both small and large audiences in relation to promoting the Graduate Programs.
• Building reports, including competitor analysis, application trends, and enrollment reports for the Master’s programs.
• Managing prospective student communications through CRM and admissions systems, including timely follow-up, outreach, and accurate documentation of recruitment activities.
• Counseling prospective students and applicants throughout the admissions process by providing guidance on program options, application requirements, admissions policies, and enrollment steps while delivering exceptional customer service.
