Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and one year of related professional experience.
  • One year of experience in student recruitment, admissions, academic advising, or related programs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel for recruitment events.
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
  • Experience with undergraduate student recruitment and outreach is a plus.
  • Experience presenting to groups or information sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of a university program or department.
  • Oversees program expenditures and ensures adherence to budget.
  • Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
  • Prepares abstracts, proposals, and other written materials as needed.
  • Reviews reports of budgets and activities; prepares ad hoc reports.
  • May administer grants, scholarships, and related operations.
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures; may act as property custodian.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
