Job summary

University of New England is seeking an Assistant Director of Graduate & Professional Financial Aid to manage the administration and awarding of aid for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. The role oversees eligibility, verification, SAP, and Return to Title IV across multiple funding sources, reporting to the Director of Financial Aid.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, develop COA budgets, provide counseling, and collaborate with COM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in student financial aid administration.
• Experience administering R2T4, SAP, verification, SAR C-codes, and exercising professional judgment for graduate and professional students.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and awarding of financial aid programs for the COM across funding sources.
• Review, update, and improve financial aid policies, procedures, and operations.
• Package, award, monitor, and adjust financial aid in compliance with regulations and reporting.
