Job summary

The University of New England is seeking an Assistant Director of Graduate & Professional Financial Aid to manage awarding and processing for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource, guiding students through complex aid options and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities include determining eligibility, reviewing awards, developing budgets, monitoring SAP, and ensuring accurate disbursements while collaborating with campus partners to support student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in student financial aid administration or equivalent.
• Experience in detail-oriented roles involving customer service, advising, financial information, compliance, data review, or administrative processes.
• Ability to learn complex financial aid regulations, systems, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility and review/adjust financial aid awards.
• Develop Cost of Attendance budgets.
• Monitor student eligibility and adjust aid as enrollment or progress changes.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and offices to support students.
• Explain aid requirements and options clearly to students.
