Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Primary Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming Primary Schools across Durham. This role offers flexible day-to-day work, short-term placements or a long-term opportunity to gain classroom experience before teacher training.

Working with experienced teachers, you’ll support pupils across EYFS to KS2, deliver 1-to-1 and group interventions, and help develop confidence, behaviour and a love of learning. A degree in any subject is welcome.

Qualifications

  • A degree (or expected graduation) in any subject.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Genuine interest in working with children.
  • Experience with children is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during lessons.
  • Deliver engaging one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Help children build confidence, resilience and independence.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
