Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Graduate Classroom Supervisor to support a primary school in the Durham area. The role is full-time (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) starting September 2026, lasting through the 2026–27 academic year.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, helping pupils across the primary range. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain classroom experience while developing behaviour management skills and pursuing teacher training.

Qualifications

• A graduate-level qualification is required.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to engage and support pupils across primary age range.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and classroom activities in the absence of the class teacher.
• Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies.
• Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
• Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress and engagement.
• No lesson planning or marking required.

We are recruiting for a Graduate Classroom Supervisor to work in a welcoming Primary School in the Durham area on an ongoing basis throughout the 2026–27 academic year.
