Job summary

HNTB is seeking a planning-focused analyst in Maine to support urban and transportation projects. You will gather and analyze data, create visuals, and contribute to studies from concept to completion.

You will assist in developing planning alternatives, preparing plans and reports, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with GIS and MS Office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with GIS and data summarization is a plus.
• Strong writing and presentation abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and reviews data for projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Supports development of maps, exhibits, and reporting for projects.
• Assists in development of planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Supports stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains project records and files.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
