Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions, a leading Job Corps provider, seeks a placement-focused professional to support graduates through readiness assessments, referrals, and employment preparation. You will build employer connections, coordinate with One-Stops and state agencies, and conduct follow-ups to maximize job retention and success for youth aged 16–24.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field with two years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with young people aged 16–24, demonstrating leadership skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Current certification under Puerto Rico Law 300 and a valid Puerto Rico Class 4 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and present information clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess graduates' placement readiness and provide referrals and support services.
• Ensure timely placement and retention of graduates in quality jobs, military, or further education.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, One-Stops, and State Employment Agencies.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups on graduates and former enrollees.
• Assist graduates with resume preparation, interview skills, and placement search strategies.
• Identify and refer to transitional support services for successful placement and retention.
