Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with two years of experience.
• Experience working with young people aged 16-24, demonstrating leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Current certification under Puerto Rico Law 300 and a valid Puerto Rico Class 4 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess graduates' placement readiness and provide referrals and support services in line with DOL, Center, and Equus requirements.
• Ensure timely placement and retention of graduates in quality jobs, military, or further education, aiming for 50% placement prior to separation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, One-Stops, and State Employment Agencies to promote job opportunities.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups on graduates and former enrollees to provide ongoing placement services.
• Assist graduates with resume preparation, interview skills, and placement search strategies.
• Identify and refer transitional support services necessary for successful placement and retention.
• Organize and participate in job fairs, on-site and community-based, to connect graduates with employers.
• Document all placement services in case notes and verify placements with employers.
