Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations within CVS Retail locations. Under a preceptor-guided roadmap, you will develop toward pharmacist responsibilities and contribute to safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.

You will learn SOPs, participate in immunizations and other pharmacy services, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, while advancing professional licensure and clinical skills under

Qualifications

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines. Failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may result in separation of employment.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner.
Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
Mathematical Reasoning: compute dosage, days’ supply, and fill counts.
