Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation and support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment.

As you progress, you will assist with immunizations, DUR checks, and patient counseling while adhering to SOPs and professional standards, contributing to a caring, inclusive patient experience

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate prescription processing.
• Demonstrate customer service and teamwork in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure quality service.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by law.
