Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and complete a 120-day training roadmap. You will help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, safely, and with caring service within the pharmacy team.

You will learn SOPs, patient safety standards, and may assist with immunizations and counseling under supervision, preparing for a Pharmacist role in our retail network.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (120 days of graduation).
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians in daily operations while ensuring patient safety and accurate dispensing.
• Support immunizations and patient counseling as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain SOPs and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts as directed.
