Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team in a hands-on internship within our retail pharmacy network. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, completing a 120-day training roadmap and preparing for licensure while supporting pharmacy workflows.

You will learn to manage patient safety, DUR, immunizations where allowed, and provide compassionate care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Attend regular training and complete the roadmap within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions.
• Deliver patient service with empathy and care at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and gather medical history for optimal care under supervision.
• Maintain SOPs, safety, and patient privacy compliance
